Cookies Policy

This policy explains what the A³ website (this site) stores in your browser — cookies and similar technologies such as local storage — why, for how long, and how you control it. It complements our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.

In short: the site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only non-essential storage is Google Analytics, and it is switched off until you accept it.

These items are needed for the site to work as you expect or to remember a choice you made. They identify no one and are not used for tracking.

• “theme” (local storage) — your light/dark display preference. Set only when you use the theme toggle. Kept until you clear your browser's site data.
• “a3-consent” (local storage) — records whether you accepted or declined analytics, so the banner does not reappear on every page. Set when you make a choice. Kept until you clear your browser's site data or change your decision.

Our servers also keep short-lived request logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested) for security and abuse prevention, retained for 12 months. These are server records, not browser storage.

If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, buttons clicked, videos played, forms started and completed. We use this to improve the site and to understand which content is useful. The data is aggregated; we do not use it to identify you.

• “_ga” (cookie) — distinguishes one browser from another with a random identifier. Expires after 13 months.
• “_ga_<property>” (cookie) — keeps the state of the current visit for the same purpose. Expires after 13 months.

Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Data retention in our Google Analytics property is set to 14 months, after which user-level data is deleted automatically.

We implement Google Consent Mode v2. Before you make a choice, every consent signal is set to “denied” and no analytics cookie is placed. If you decline, Google Analytics receives at most cookieless, aggregated pings that cannot identify you and set no cookie.

• No advertising cookies and no ad-network pixels.
• No social-media tracking pixels or embedded social widgets.
• No third-party video player: the founder videos are served from our own servers and set no cookie.
• No fingerprinting or cross-site tracking of any kind.

If we add a tool that stores something in your browser — for example an embedded scheduler on the session booking step — we will describe it here first and, where consent is required, ask for it through the banner before it loads.

You can accept or decline analytics at any time. Open the cookie settings from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page (or the button below) and make a new choice; it takes effect immediately.

You can also delete or block storage in your browser's settings. Blocking the strictly necessary items will not break the site, but the banner will appear again on each visit and your theme choice will not be remembered.
